Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July!  This was Camden's first year.  No fireworks for him this year, maybe next.  I always find cute onesies like this for him.  $3 at Walmart...can't beat it!

I always love the weekends and everything they always seem to bring and offer, especially in the summer.  A long holiday weekend is always even better!

This weekend was kicked off with a beautiful wedding for our two friends, Jason and Cessli Hahn.  We only more recently started to hang out with them, but they are amazing people and we quickly became good friends.  I am so happy for them and I wish them many years of love and happiness!

On Thursday we received word that friends of ours, Brandon and Brittany went to the hospital to have their baby boy.  On July 1, 2011 at 12:49am, Kylan Parker Siemens came into the world, 8lbs, 9oz, 22 1/2 inches long.  He is so beautiful, a head full of dark hair.  I got to hold him and meet him this weekend.  I just love babies... They are going to be amazing parents!

We also spent some time up north with Mark's family.  I always love these trips.  Mark and his dad banter back and forth endlessly about who is better or who won at what.  We had a chance to see Cody, who we haven't seen since fall last year, and I got to hang out with Nikki, who I always love to see and visit with.  We don't usually do anything major, but these are always my most favorite of times.  I love just being together with family and we don't usually run out of ideas to entertain ourselves.  Horseshoes, Wii, cards...there's always a competition to be had somewhere.  One particular memory of this trip up north I will tuck away is sitting and watching a work-out video with Dee and Nikki...as we snack on pita chips and the most amazing homemade hummous you will ever have.  Yes...that's right, I said WATCHING the video...lol

I love weekends like this.  They're always busy, and I'm left exhausted in the end.  But I always feel so blessed to have such amazing people in my life.
