As the little boy gets older his sense of humor has begun to mature. He can be pretty funny sometimes, especially when his humor catches you off-guard. I always love sharing his humor with people because it almost always induces a giggle.
Yesterday as I was dropping the boys off at daycare Parker and I were talking about the airshow we went to on Saturday.
Me: You know, I've been going to airshows since I was a little kid like you.
Parker: REALLY?!?! That must have been before planes had engines!!!
Me: (after a moment of stunned silence) Parker....I am not THAT old!
Parker: Is my dad older than you?
Me: Yes...
Parker: Wow....that was REALLY before planes had engines!!
Oye....I can't help but laugh but at the same time it is no wonder why I struggle with aging gracefully when my almost 7 year old is of the mindset I was born during the caveman days!
