Another birthday and all I have to say is WOW. First of all, I cannot believe all of the birthday wishes from my friends and family! I have to be the luckiest girl in the world.
Mark has been asking me for weeks what I want for my birthday. I have two words - wrinkle free. A few weeks ago I was at home with Parker. He looked at me and said "Mom, can't you just make those wrinkles around your mouth go away?" I looked at him and said "I have these lines because I laugh and smile so much, pal." To which he replies "Well you should make them go away." What a charmer my little boy has become! While I cringe at the whole aging thing, I couldn't help but laugh at him.
Really though, as a 30-something year old girl (details need not apply here!) with a wonderful fiance, 2 beautiful kids and the most amazing friends and family anyone could ever ask for, there is truly nothing I need. I feel like I already have it all, I feel very blessed and rich. The last year has been filled with so many wonderful things. Here are just a few...
1) More recently I became engaged to the love of my life.
2) The birth of my beautiful son, Camden.
3) Gaining new and amazing girlfriends- Cessli, Natalie, Bre, Breanne, just to name a few.
4) Reconnecting with a dear best friend, Amy.
5) Becoming closer to my beautiful future sisters-in-law, Nikki and Billie
There is nothing you can ever buy in any store, with any amount of money that could come close to competing with the blessing God gives me every day.
