Pink Ribbons and Dresses

What a fantastic weekend spent with family!  Saturday was the annual Race for the Cure in Detroit, my first year ever.  I am proud to report I raised $375 for this event, and am so thankful to everyone who donated!  This was truly such an amazing experience, I am already looking forward to next year!

After the race Dee, Nikki, AnnMarie and I headed off to Demetrios in Troy so I could try on dresses.  After trying on about 8 dresses, I did say yes to one of them and promptly put down a deposit!  I am so excited, and absolutely loved the feeling I had when I first put it on.  It is going to be a long wait and long time until March to keep this secret from Mark.  I hope he loves it, and I am so looking forward to walking to him on our day and seeing his face as he sees me.
