Diamonds...

I'm engaged!!

It actually happened exactly one week ago today, May 12th, 2011.  That day will be forever tucked away in my memory, despite the 'swiss cheese effect' that seems to be taking over more and more.

I came home from work last Thursday to Mark playing with Camden on the couch.  I noticed right away he was wearing a different onesie than what I had dressed him in that morning, but I figured he probably had one of his classic "blow-outs". 

Of course I always have an armful when I come home, and Mark kept telling me to hurry up and put my stuff down because Cam wanted to see me.  He kept trying to turn around but Mark wouldn't let him. 

Once I had things 'settled', he handed me that beautiful baby boy with the big gummy smile I adore so much, wearing a onesie that said "Will you marry me?"

Now let me say, I think this was a record time for how long it took for the tears to fall, even for Emotional Me.  Mark promptly got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life by his side.  Of course I accepted!  :)

Here is a picture of Camden.  Not the best, but he's a very excited little boy and wouldn't sit still, which caused the blur...that and my phone is jurassic :)

And of course my amazingly gorgeous ring....try not to look at my nails that were in desperate need of a fill!  I was SO SURE he was going to do it Saturday night, I had plans to get them done Friday! 

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE his proposal.  He even thought ahead to 'steal' my camera so he could video tape it.  I'm a pretty lucky chick.
