Progress...

So I have been doing the Booty Call challenge for about a week now, and boy am I feeling it today! I have been mostly using Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred, and just yesterday I moved up to Level 2. WOW what a difference from level 1!! The first time I did the ab portion of level 1 I thought, I can handle much more than this! Enter Level 2. It is only 20 minutes but it really works you! I plan on taking a picture of me now (sorry, this won't be shared! lol) and then another one in about a month so I can visually see my progress.

I am actually surprised at how well I am keeping to the 4:15 am wake-up to work out schedule. I know it has only been a week but when I started I wasn't sure if I would make it past the first few days. Don't get me wrong, there are days it takes extra effort to drag myself out of my toasty bed and away from snuggling with Mark (such as this morning) but I just remind myself that I'm in this with Nikki and I know she is getting up early too. So far that does the trick. This is our way of 'working out together' despite the miles between us. And I have Billie, who may live closer but we may not have conducive schedules. I sent her the booty call challenge and she accepted. Even at 12 weeks pregnant she is now back to running and plans on running a marthon in the spring. I applaud her!

I've never been one for New Year's Eve resolutions but I am planning on writing up a list of 'goals' so I can cross them off my list as I achieve them. I will post that soon. In the meantime I invite people to check out www.toneitup.com/community and take on the Booty Call Challenge!
