Happiness

I found happiness. My happiness is in my growing relationship with God. My happiness is in my relationship with Mark. He is loving and supportive and encouraging. My happiness is in my boys and their smiles that light up the darkest days. My happiness is my small circle of friends and my family. I have an amazing life.

I feel like lately I have encountered a handful of people who are only happy if they are making other people miserable. They are so unhappy and miserable with themselves and their own life...and as the saying goes, "misery loves company." Their own lives have taken a wrong turn and instead of trying to 'fix' it they retaliate in a way that only hurts innocent people. In the end that person is not any happier. It's a sad and vicious cycle to be in. It makes me angry and sad at the same time for these people. I pray they find peace and happiness within themselves because it is only then you can truly be happy.
